Special Event “Honoring Our Mothers and Fathers”

This special Program will Provide opportunities for those grieving the recent loss of a parent to find support while gaining insights and coping strategies during what can be an especially difficult time of year. Activities demonstrating the importance of ritual and remembrances as ways to honor our parents will be presented.

Walk & Talk at Peace Valley Park @ Peace Valley Park

Gather for an hour or so of gentle walking and conversation with your peers along with the Bereavement staff and Mentors while we take in the beauty of Lake Galena.  We meet at the North Entrance of the park. For directions, please call.  Bring water for hydration and please dress appropriately for the weather and for walking on paved and gravel-covered trails.

Note: Facilitators are not CPR certified.

RESERVATIONS ARE REQUIRED – please call 215-345-2079.

Program may be cancelled for inclement weather or excessive heat.
