Walk & Talk at Peace Valley Park @ Peace Valley Park

Gather for an hour or so of gentle walking and talking with your peers along with the Bereavement staff. We meet at the North Entrance of the park (off of Rt. 313, New Galena Road). The park entrance is across from the Peace Valley Lavender Farm. Meet us at Pavilion #5 (the first Pavilion after you enter the park). For additional information and to RSVP, please call 215-345-2079. Bring water for hydration and please dress appropriately for the weather and for walking on paved and gravel-covered trails.

The Second Year And Beyond…There’s More?! @ Doylestown United Methodist Church

A support group for mature widows and widowers in the 2nd-3rd year of new grief.

While the first year of loss can feel completely overwhelming and exhausting, the second year opens the door for many new and different challenges along with more questions about the unfolding new normal. Join the bereavement coordinators of Doylestown Hospice as we focus on the 2nd year and beyond. Gather with other bereaved in a safe and supportive environment to explore, share, and grow together.

Young Surviving Partners

Bereavement support group for individuals in their 30’s – 50’s who have lost a spouse or life partner.

Explore issues unique to younger widows and widowers; these may include raising children alone, maintaining a home and career, tackling new roles and responsibilities along with facing the future as a young surviving partner with many years ahead.

MEETING ON THE THIRD FRIDAY OF EVERY MONTH FROM 7:00 -9:00PM.

Morning Meals – Spring Breakfast

Are you having a particularly challenging day? Would support and conversation help you get through a tougher moment? Would the support of others lift your spirits as you face the day to day challenges of new loss?

Join us for bi monthly opportunities to gather with others who, “get it.” Drop by for conversation in a safe and supportive environment and gain informal support from other bereaved. Hospice Bereavement staff or volunteers will attend all drop ins.

*Park in the upper lot and follow steps/sidewalks to the side doors
*Knock on the door labeled with “Bereavement Program”
